Happy Memorial Day


We dropped Landon off at Maury Christian Church camp Sunday. He will be be there until Friday. We missed him this Memorial Day and will miss him all week!! Can't wait to pick him up Friday.

5K

Scott, Dawson and I went to Huntsville, AL for the Cotton Row 5K. Scott and Dawson ran the 5K and they both did great. There were 1,975 runners and Scott took 85th place and Dawson took 746th. Maybe I'll join in next year. That's just a lot of runners!

Landon Graduates 6th Grade

Landon graduated 6th Grade at Columbia Academy last night. He received the Language/Arts award in his homeroom class and he got perfect attendance this year! I cannot believe he'll be a 7th grader next year.

Landon and Dawson are growing up so fast. "I'm gonna miss this."

Landon's Baptism

Yesterday, Landon was baptized. It was a wonderful day for us! Many tears of joy were shed and we are so thankful that God has blessed us in so many ways. We love Landon and Dawson with all our hearts! God blessed us with two healthy and wonderful boys.

We are so proud of Landon and for the decision he has made.

1st Family 5K!

Landon and I decided to join Scott and Dawson in the 5K adventure. We did the Relay for Life 5K today at the park. What a great family family adventure! This was Landon's 1st 5K ever and he did great!

Scott got 2nd place overall. We are so proud of him! I am so proud of all my family and I am looking forward to many more 5K's with them. Our next one as a family is in Waynesboro on June 5th.

Dawson's 9th Birthday Parties

Dawson Turns 9!

Dawson's birthday is Friday, April 30th. 9 years ago, in 2001, God blessed us with a 2nd, perfect child. He continues to bless us with good health and a wonderful life.

Time flies by and it's so hard to believe that my 'baby boy' will be 9 years old. He's still the sweetest and he looks after his mom!

Landon and Dawson have blessed our lives and I'm so thankful to be a Mom. I am so proud to be their Mom. They are such good boys.

Happy 9th Birthday Dawson!!!! Love you, always have and always will!

Another 5K!

Scott and Dawson ran their 2nd 5K today in Rogersville, AL! They both beat their first times. Scott ran in 22:36 and Dawson in 30:13. Way to go! I am so proud of them. I had Ladies Day at church today, so I couldn't go with them, by maybe I'll do the next one.

Landon - CA Super Student

The 6th graders at Columbia Academy get to be the Super Student each week. Landon got his turn today. We had a great morning with the kids in his class and we got a chance to see how Landon has grown up and matured. He said an awesome prayer before lunch in the classroom. We are so proud of him! We love both our boys dearly. Dawson's first day back to school after Spring Break was today, so he could not make it. We missed him!

We decorated a board for Landon in the hallway at CA. Of course, it was the best looking board ever! Check out our theme.

Life is good. God is good all the time!

Mule Kick 5K

Last weekend, Scott and Dawson ran their first 5K! I was so happy for them. They both did great! Scott ran it in 23:23 and Dawson in 30:38.

Dawson's Jump Rope Performance at PTA, Columbia Academy & Giles Co Schools

It's been a busy week for the Woodard Jump Rope Team! They performed 4 routines in two days. They get better with each performance. Here are the highlights of Dawson and freinds!

Dawson is on the jump rope team at his school. They had their first performance Friday night. Here's a video of the highlights of his performance. He's on the left in the first two clips and on the right in the last clip. I think I was more nervous than he was. I'm really proud of him!

It's been a great weekend! Had another fun day in the snow today with the family and our neighbors. Thank you God for the seasons and this beautiful snow!



It's slowly melting, but at night it freezes again. It's still really pretty!

The boys basketball games were cancelled today, due to the weather. The roads are really bad!

Winter Storm - Day 2

I walked outside this morning and it's beautiful! Everything is ice. We are thankful that we haven't lost power yet. We are walking 'on top' of it this morning because it's ice on top of the snow. We hope to get out in it today for at least picture opportunities. We won't be building a snowman. Maybe an iceman, but no snowman. Looks like we are in for the weekend.

Winter Storm!

Wow, it's a Winter Storm in Columbia, TN! Scott and I went to work this morning, the boys went to our sitters. It started with a dusting and then before we could react, the roads were so dangerous! It took 2.5 hours to get home from work and picking up the boys. This normally takes less than 30 minutes. We are thankful to have gotten home safely. It's so pretty! It's a lot of ice and snow, at last measure almost 5 inches, so the roads are very dangerous. There is more expected through the night. Not sure if it will be snow, ice or both! I will blog our play day in the snow/ice tomorrow. It should be a fun day.
